Aleasha Pilaw, a 36-year-old woman from Bargoed, UK, had been through two unsuccessful marriages and was tired of ordinary romantic gestures. So, instead of waiting for her boyfriend to propose, she decided to come up with an unconventional plan to propose to him.
After being in a relationship with Paul Schoproni, 40, for some time, Aleasha decided to surprise him with a proposal. She came up with a plan to pretend to help a couple organize their wedding and invite Paul to attend. Suddenly, during the ceremony, Aleasha walked in through the front door in a stunning white wedding gown and started singing the song “It Should Have Been Me.”
After this romantic gesture, Aleasha knelt down and proposed to the man she believed was the most wonderful person in the world. However, Paul, in response to Aleasha’s trick, initially said no to the proposal but then immediately kissed her.
Only when he saw his girlfriend in a white dress, and they both stood on the stage for the oath, and when the wedding coin fell, did he believe that what was happening was real.
While the guests were surprised, Paul, still in shock, hugged his partner and realized that he was the groom today.
Aleasha revealed that Paul had proposed to her about 30 times a day for the past two years, doing things like waiting on the street in the morning to hold up a sign that says “Will you marry me?”
The couple met on a night out when Paul was a mechanic. Currently, Aleasha runs two garages, and Paul works at one of them. In addition to running her business, Aleasha is also studying for a Human Resources Management degree.
After being married twice before and having three children, Aleasha didn’t want to take another step until she met Paul.
