Shekinah Garner Opens Up About Swelling at the 90 Day Fiancé Tell-All

During the 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way tell-all, fans noticed that Shekinah Garner appeared unusually swollen, sparking curiosity and concern. However, Shekinah revealed the reason behind her appearance, leaving many viewers surprised.

Turbulent Times at the Tell-All

The tell-all was a challenging experience for Shekinah and her partner, Sarper Guven. Tensions escalated when host Shaun Robinson introduced DeeDee, a woman from Sarper’s past, who claimed she had maintained contact with him until November—while he was with Shekinah. In a moment of frustration, Shekinah dismissed DeeDee and left the stage, prompting viewers to question her maturity and the future of their relationship. Despite the drama, the couple seems to be working through their issues.

Shekinah Explains Her Swollen Appearance

Addressing her swollen look, Shekinah shared that just ten days prior to the tell-all, she had all her facial fillers removed and underwent a fat transfer to address hollows under her eyes and temples. She explained that this procedure carries risks, especially with the upcoming tell-all so close.

She stated, “It was a risk doing this so soon before the tell-all, and the swelling would likely take a month to subside. With fat transfer, doctors need to over-fill since some of the fat won’t survive the transfer. I was still very swollen at the tell-all, but I don’t regret it. I trust this doctor completely and wanted to have it done before returning to the States with Sarper.”

Fans were taken aback by her decision to remove the fillers, but many expressed their support for her choice to embrace a more natural look. While Shekinah indicated she may consider future lip fillers, she hasn’t received any recently.

In summary, Shekinah’s journey reflects her desire for a more authentic appearance, and fans are glad to see her prioritizing her well-being and confidence over cosmetic enhancements.
