These 10 brides featured on Say Yes to the Dress spared no expense to ensure that their special day was nothing short of perfect.
While every bride hopes for an unforgettable wedding day, some have gone to great lengths, including breaking the bank, to ensure that every aspect, including their dress, is absolutely perfect. While Kleinfeld caters to all budgets, for some customers, price is hardly a consideration.
Some brides come in with a modest budget, while others come in with none at all. So, out of all the brides that come in through the doors and try on wedding gowns, which ones are actually breaking the bank? Here are 10 of the most expensive dresses featured on the show along with what they cost.
Updated on April 7th, 2022 by Tanner Fox: With 19 seasons having debuted since the show began in 2007, Say Yes To The Dress has been an undisputed hit for TLC. Chronicling the stories of brides-to-be searching for their ideal wedding dresses, Say Yes To The Dress has launched a selection of spin-off titles and endured for well over a decade on a network known for quickly ditching underperforming shows.
While most of the dresses seen in the series range in price from several hundred to a few thousand dollars, some brides have really broken the bank to ensure that their big days are as magnificent as they could possibly be.
$3,100 – Megan
Megan looked radiant in her Hayley Paige wedding dress, which was simple, elegant, and adorned with just the right amount of sparkle to make her shine on her special day. This chiffon gown was one of the most beautiful dresses ever featured on the show, but it also came with a considerable price tag, even though it’s not comparable to some of the other dresses on this list.
While the dress was relatively understated, it still cost over three thousand dollars, which may have surprised some viewers, even though it’s not as expensive as some of the other dresses featured on the show.
$4,500 – Jessie
Jessie looked breathtaking in her Maison Signore wedding dress, which featured intricate lace and floral embellishments and a beautiful tulle skirt. This dress was the perfect choice for her special day, and it was the last dress she tried on before finding “the one.” Her wedding was truly unforgettable, and she was the only bride on the show to wear a dress by this designer that made it onto this list.
This is a great example of how when a bride finds her dream dress, she’ll stop at nothing to make it hers, regardless of the price. Jessie’s wedding was a huge success, and her dress was undoubtedly a big part of it.
$5,900 – Cami
When Cami Li tried on several black dresses, it almost gave her mother a heart attack. However, she eventually found a stunning Pnina Tornai dress that was approved by her bridal party. The dress was available in both black and white, and Cami looked absolutely gorgeous in both versions of the sleek, strapless dress.
Costing $5,900, this dress was one of the most unique and striking gowns to be featured on the show. It perfectly matched Cami’s alternative style, making her stand out as one of the most memorable brides on the series.
$12,500 – Katelynn
Pnina Tornai strikes again with this stunning mermaid gown adorned with Swarovski crystals. Katelynn looked absolutely radiant in this dress on her wedding day, with a tulle skirt, glimmering bodice, and a beautiful corset. It’s no wonder that this designer has several gowns that are up there in price.
Katelynn’s mother and aunt generously contributed to help her purchase her dream dress, and this sparkly gown truly deserved a shout-out. The episode was a great example of familial unity and a heartwarming moment for the show.
$21,300 – Alexandra
Alexandra Gerhart was in search of a reception dress when she came across this stunning Pnina Tornai gown adorned with Swarovski crystals. The dress features a sheer top and is absolutely breathtaking, but it also comes with a hefty price tag of over $21,000, which needless to say, is a significant amount of money.
Alexandra’s mother was not thrilled about the price or the dress itself, showcasing how expensive dresses can sometimes cause tension among family members. Despite the controversy, this dress still makes the list of the most expensive dresses to ever appear on the show.
$24,000 – Autumn
Autumn walked into the store with her fiancé’s blessing and wallet, with two dresses in mind – one for the ceremony and another for the reception. However, she ultimately chose a stunning dress that surpassed both of them.
Her husband-to-be didn’t hesitate to drop a whopping $50,000, which included an $8,000 veil. This definitely turned heads, both for the price tag and the dress’s unique look. Autumn’s wedding was yet another example of a bride who refused to settle for anything less than the very best.
$29,000 – Katrice
This Pnina Tornai gown was brought into the dressing room by NFL players and former Say Yes stars Thomas and Julius Jones. It was the biggest and most expensive dress in the store at the time!
Although the dress didn’t steal Katrice’s heart, it remains one of the most expensive dresses ever featured on the show. The moment was both hilarious and sweet, with the brothers carrying the extravagant gown to the dressing room. Had Katrice chosen the dress, it would have been a historic moment for Say Yes to the Dress.
$32,600 – Tracy
A Kentucky bride with an unlimited budget showed up at the store, determined not to leave without the wedding dress of her dreams. She was searching for nothing less than a royal dress for her special day.
As expected, Pnina Tornai designed this magnificent gown, which was truly one of a kind. The bride stunned her bridal party and looked every bit the part of a true bride on her big day.
$34,000 – Kelly
Kelly’s mother is paying for her entire wedding, and she’s been saving for it her entire life. Kelly’s wedding was referred to as a “modern-day Marie Antoinette,” seemingly with an unlimited budget, which included her $34,000 dress.
This unique silver gown was absolutely stunning, making for a show-stopping wedding. Kelly left everyone in her bridal party in awe, wearing a dress that was unlike any other featured on the show.
$70,000 – Tabitha
Pnina Tornai is a famed designer whose gowns are highly sought after by fans of the show who later become brides. In season seven, bride Tabitha broke the show’s record for the most expensive gown purchased, ringing in at a staggering $70,000!
At that price, it’s more than what most weddings cost. However, Tabitha looked absolutely dazzling in the gorgeous dress that she said yes to, and it was definitely worth the pretty penny she spent on it. Although she chose to keep her special day private, fans can still see this dress in all its original glory.
