In the August 4 episode of 90 Day: Hunt for Love, Chantel went on a date with franchise newcomer Rocky Russo. Things started off promising during a flirty jet ski ride, but quickly turned awkward when Chantel’s conversation style began to feel more like a job interview than a romantic chat. While there was some chemistry, one thing became very clear: Chantel’s mind was elsewhere — more specifically, on her longtime friend Ashley Kotera Bowen.

“This is nothing like the way I feel when I’m talking to Ashley. I feel so comfortable talking to her… she hasn’t left my mind.”
In a preview for Episode 12, Chantel opens up to castmate Tim, saying:
“Before I decided to come [on Hunt for Love], someone who I thought was just a friend told me they had feelings for me.”
With only two episodes left, fans are hoping to see Ashley make an appearance during the Tell All — and maybe get some clarity on where they truly stand.
What About Chantel and Rocky Russo?
At this point, Chantel and Rocky have not confirmed a relationship — and based on what we’ve seen, it’s unlikely they’re still together. Their date was filled with awkward pauses, and Chantel herself admitted she had to “pull out a list” of questions just to keep the conversation going.
Rocky, while complimentary of Chantel’s looks, was visibly unsure and even mentioned he hadn’t decided between her and another castmate, Tiffany. That uncertainty didn’t sit well with Chantel — and only seemed to deepen her feelings for Ashley.
