Season 13 of My Big Fat Fabulous Life has been full of big emotions, bigger choices, and the kind of personal revelations that keep TLC fans hooked. But one question is on everyone’s mind: Did Whitney Way Thore officially leave her hometown of Greensboro, North Carolina?

At the start of the season, viewers watched Whitney embrace a fresh adventure across the pond in London, where she spent time teaching dance at the famous Pineapple Dance Studio. During her stay, she shared a surprising confession about how much the trip opened her eyes.

“At this point, I wish I had packed five more suitcases and brought the cats because I don’t know what’s keeping me from just staying here indefinitely,” Whitney told producers with her signature mix of humor and honesty.

In a heart-to-heart with longtime friend Tal Fish, Whitney got even more candid, admitting, “My time in London just made it really clear to me that I am in a rut here in Greensboro, and I’m not happy.” Those words hit hard for fans who have followed her through every twist and turn.

Lately, Whitney’s Instagram has been lighting up with snapshots alongside her friend Mabel — and guess what? A lot of them seem to show her living it up back in the U.K. However, despite the dreamy London backdrop and all the speculation, Whitney hasn’t officially confirmed she’s moved abroad. Not yet, anyway.

But Greensboro might not be the only place she’s looking to leave behind. In another teaser, Whitney dropped hints about a possible move to Salem, Massachusetts—another curveball her fans didn’t see coming.
“I made new friends, Sabrina and Corinne,” she teased. “They live in Salem. They’re like two kindreds.”

Naturally, her close-knit crew had plenty of feelings about this. In one scene, her friend Ashley Baynes jokingly asked, “You’re just going to uproot and go with your fun new friends?”
Meanwhile, Jessica Powell, another of Whitney’s inner circle, wasn’t afraid to confront her directly: “I’m asking you, are you leaving?”
Whitney’s answer? Classic Whitney: “I have no idea!”

Of course, family plays a huge role in any big decision. Whitney’s half-sister Angie voiced what many fans are probably thinking: “I just don’t want you making a decision you regret.” In her confessional, Angie added, “Whitney moving away from [her father] Glenn? I don’t see that happening. She wants to take care of Glenn.”

So, what’s the truth? Has Whitney really packed up her life for good? Or is this just another adventure before she returns to her roots? TLC fans will have to keep watching to find out where her heart — and her home — truly belong.
