Tammy Slaton Wants to Marry as an Ice Queen — Fans Are Divided: Dreamy or Delusional?

Tammy Slaton does not want an ordinary wedding. In a PEOPLE exclusive clip from tonight’s 1000-Lb Sisters episode (airing Tuesday, Oct. 20, at 9 p.m. ET on TLC), the bride-to-be revealed she is planning a Frozen-inspired wedding celebration — and the details are exactly as extra as you are imagining. One problem: the fandom cannot agree whether it is the dreamiest thing ever or completely delusional.

The “Frozen” Wedding Vision, Straight From Tammy’s Mouth

According to PEOPLE, Tammy told the group she will “maybe” wear a crown at her wedding — just like in the mock-up photos. And in her own words, her vision is this: “My vision for the wedding is simple, elegant. Just thinking more of like a forest, like Elsa. A queen, a forest queen. Just simple. Just want poinsettias and glitter.”

Simple? Well. The mock-ups tell a different story.

Amy, the AI Mock-Ups, and the Penguin Problem

Here is where it gets good. Tammy’s sister Amy — her maid of honor — showed the venue guide AI-generated inspiration photos illustrating Tammy’s ideas. One image turned Tammy into an ice queen bride with a little Frozen magic from Elsa. Another showed the couple marrying beneath a “Snow in Love” banner, surrounded by snow, penguins, Christmas trees, and ornaments hanging from the ceiling.

Amy, ever the voice of reason, admitted in a confessional: “Tammy’s got these wild ideas in her head of her wedding and stuff. One minute she wants ice queen theme, winter forest wonderland. Next minute there’s like penguin bulls—.” She added that she used AI to give Tammy options “so she can get a clear vision” — and drew a line: “But if it don’t work right, it ain’t going in there.”

Team “Let Her Be a Queen” vs Team “Keep It Simple”

And just like that, the fandom split in two. On one side, Team Let Her Be a Queen: after the 500-pound weight loss journey, the skin removal surgeries, and finally finding love with Andrea Dalton, Tammy has earned her fairytale. A crown, a forest, a little Elsa magic — why not? She called it simple and elegant, and her sister is right there helping her dream big.

On the other side, Team Keep It Simple: penguins? At a wedding? These fans love Tammy but want her to hear her own words — simple, elegant, poinsettias and glitter — and leave the penguin colony out of it. The AI mock-ups only fanned the flames: some fans think they are genius planning tools, others think they are proof the vision needs an editor.

Both camps agree on one thing, though: Amy as maid of honor, armed with AI inspiration boards, is the most invested version of big-sister energy we have ever seen from her.

The Venue Reality Check

While the ice queen debate rages, the venue hunt itself is very real. According to Christian County Now, Tammy and Andrea really did tour Burdoc Farms Weddings and Events in Crofton, Kentucky for the show — owner Sara Shepherd got a call from producers, appeared on camera, and even witnessed the sisters’ now-famous run-in with the farm’s resident swans. The couple ultimately did not book the venue due to date availability issues, so the search continues.

So now it is your turn to settle the biggest wedding debate of the season. Team Dreamy or Team Keep It Simple — should Tammy walk down the aisle as an ice queen with penguins in attendance, or strip it back to poinsettias and glitter? Drop your verdict in the comments.
