Pedro’s Wedding Is Next — But He and Valentina Can’t Agree WHERE: Inside the DR vs. Colombia Showdown

Chantel Everett just got her fairy-tale Alabama wedding — 60 guests, a helicopter exit, and a surprise honeymoon in Cancun. But she is not the only one in the 90 Day universe with wedding plans. Her ex-husband Pedro Jimeno is engaged too, and his road to the altar has already hit its first roadblock: he and fiancée Valentina Malagon cannot agree on where to get married.
Below: the venue standoff, the 4-carat ring, and the family member who still doesn’t trust the bride.

The Venue Standoff: His DR vs. Her Colombia
Shortly after the Hawaii proposal, the couple revealed a tug-of-war. Per Prism News, Pedro wants the Dominican Republic, Valentina prefers Colombia, and the United States is also on the table.
It’s easy to see why neither will budge. The Dominican Republic is Pedro’s home turf — his mother Lidia still lives there. Colombia is Valentina’s home; she’s a Colombian psychologist who first messaged Pedro on Instagram after spotting him there. When both sides have a homeland at stake, compromise gets complicated.
No venue — and no date — has been announced. The couple says planning begins soon. Fans have already picked sides.
The 4-Carat Ring and the “Best Restaurant” Ruse
On June 6, on the island of Oahu, Hawaii, he told Valentina they were headed to the “best restaurant” around — then drove her an hour to a remote beach: red roses, candles, a rose-heart arch, and an illuminated sign reading “Will you marry me?”
The ring did the heavy lifting: a custom 4-carat pear-shaped diamond, handcrafted by Nuno Rocha of DiamondBoi Designs. “Today we’re not just celebrating a ‘yes,'” Pedro said afterward. “We’re celebrating the moment when two paths, two stories, and two dreams decided to become one forever.” He added that Valentina “came into my life as an answer.”

The Family Wildcard: His Sister Doesn’t Trust the Bride
But not everyone is celebrating. On the 90 Day: The Single Life Tell All that aired in May, Pedro’s sister Nicole Jimeno openly questioned Valentina’s intentions — on camera, in front of everyone.
“I have seen many photos of her in Dubai, United Kingdom — but never with family,” Nicole said, according to Reality TV World. “We don’t know who is the sponsor of all of this… I don’t know if she is a kind of escort, being honest.”
Pedro shut it down: Valentina is “the love of my life” and “the woman I’m going to marry.” Chantel, he added, was “like, love” — a comparison the fandom hasn’t forgotten.
To be clear: that’s Nicole’s claim from the Tell All, not an established fact. But it matters — if Pedro gets his wish and the wedding happens in the Dominican Republic, Nicole and Lidia won’t just be guests. They’ll be the home team. And the Jimeno family has never done “quiet.”
Two Weddings, One Scoreboard
Chantel: married October 17 at Fountainview Mansion in Auburn, Alabama — custom TTON Couture gown, Ashley in a bejeweled suit with sparkling sneakers, rainbow-center cake, helicopter to the St. Regis Atlanta, surprise honeymoon at Le Blanc Spa Resort in Cancun.
Pedro: engaged since June, 4-carat ring in hand, a venue fight with no winner, and a sister who still needs convincing.
Team Chantel vs. Team Pedro never ended — it just moved to wedding planning. One ex crossed the finish line. The other can’t even pick the stadium.
So we have to ask: Team DR or Team Colombia? And be honest — after Chantel’s fairy-tale Alabama wedding set the bar sky-high, can Pedro’s wedding possibly top it? Drop your pick in the comments.
