he highly anticipated new season of TLC’s popular reality series 7 Little Johnstons has officially begun, but fans immediately noticed the absence of one key family member — Anna Johnston.

During the season premiere, parents Trent and Amber Johnston addressed the situation directly. They confirmed that their 25-year-old daughter, Anna, has chosen not to participate in the current season of the show.

In a brief but straightforward explanation, Amber stated that all of their children have the freedom to decide whether or not they want to be part of the series. She added, “The ones that have chosen to participate are participating, and the ones that have not are not.” The family did not go into further detail about Anna’s personal reasons for stepping away or the ongoing family dynamics during the episode.

Instead, the show quickly shifted focus to happier updates from the rest of the Johnston family. Viewers were treated to exciting moments, including Liz Johnston and her fiancé Brice as they prepare to walk down the aisle and start their new life together as a married couple.
