Less than a year after Welcome to Plathville’s Lydia Plath married Zac Wyse, she addressed their pregnancy journey amid fans making fake AI images of her with a baby bump.

When Lydia Plath is pregnant, she makes sure her fans are the first to know.
However, the Welcome to Plathville star recently admitted that she’s grown tired of followers creating fake images of her with a baby bump, less than a year after marrying husband Zac Wyse.
“I get tired of people asking when we’re going to have kids,” Lydia, 21, said on the Revive Her podcast on October 21. “But what really frustrates me is—goodness gracious—people using AI to announce our pregnancy.”
The daughter of Kim and Barry Plath acknowledged that she understands public scrutiny after being on TV for six years, yet it still gets under her skin.
“That really gets on my nerves,” she continued. “People will misunderstand and spread false narratives, but using AI to create a pregnancy photo like that—I just hope I don’t look like that when I actually am pregnant.”
Zac also mentioned that the AI pregnancy hoax spilled over into their personal lives.
“There are some older people who follow Lydia, and they just don’t get it,” he explained. “One of her friends even messaged her saying, ‘Congratulations.’”
Lydia chimed in, “And that’s when I thought, ‘Do I need to address this publicly?’”
She added, “Guys, if you don’t see it pinned on my social media, I’m not pregnant. Please don’t believe the AI.”
Since tying the knot in February, Zac and Lydia have experienced the typical ups and downs of newlywed life. But Lydia stressed later in the episode, “The hardest part of our marriage has been dealing with the public.”
We live in a very broken world,” Zac continued. “We’re very much in the position of saying, ‘God is in control.’ We want to be gracious like He was, loving like He was, and not judge others for not living the life that we live.”
Lydia added that they can always log off when they need a break from the noise. “The good part is that it’s all online,” she said. “We can separate that from our real life.”
But Lydia and Zac aren’t the only celebrities to publicly shut down rumors about themselves. Keep reading to see how other stars have addressed fan-made theories…
