Tammy Slaton shocked fans with her stunning transformation at sister Amy Slaton’s wedding to Brian Lovvorn.
Exclusive photos obtained by People show Tammy looking slimmer than ever, proudly standing beside her sister in dark jeans and a black-and-grey striped turtleneck. Her incredible weight loss — over 500 pounds shed in recent years — and the results of her recent skin removal surgery were clearly visible, revealing a whole new Tammy.
Amy, meanwhile, looked radiant in a sleeveless lace gown as she exchanged vows with Brian during a Halloween-themed ceremony at the historic Talbott Tavern in Bardstown, Kentucky. The centuries-old inn, rumored to be haunted, was the perfect setting for the couple, who got engaged at a haunted house just last year.
The Slaton sisters, who have documented their weight-loss journeys on TLC’s 1000-lb Sisters, are both embracing new beginnings — and fans can’t get enough of their inspiring glow-ups.
“My wedding is a dream finally coming true,” Amy told People. “I’m getting my happily ever after!”
The bride couldn’t stop gushing about her new husband, praising Brian for welcoming her two sons — Gage, 4, and Glenn, 3 — whom she shares with her ex-husband, Michael Halterman.
“Not only did he capture my heart, but he also won over my boys,” Amy told People. “There aren’t many men out there who would take on a single mom with two energetic little ones!”
When Amy first announced her engagement back in May, she admitted that her sister Tammy had been a bit skeptical about how quickly things were moving. After all, Brian had popped the question just five months into their relationship.
“She really felt like we were rushing it,” Amy shared at the time.
Still, Tammy was there to support her sister on her big day — though the maid of honor title went to Amy’s best friend, Ollisha Davis. Amy revealed that she knew Davis would say yes “even before I extended the heartfelt invitation.”
