Fans of 1000-Lb Sisters have followed siblings Tammy and Amy Slaton along for not only their weight loss journey but also their romances.
The reality show centres around sisters Tammy, 38, and Amy, 37, as they tackle weight loss, life, love and everything in between.
In seven seasons fans have seen boyfriends and girlfriends come and go, and watch as the sisters deal with heartbreak and divorce.
Following news of Amy’s surprise engagement and the debut of Tammy’s newst relationship, we take a look back at their full relationship history over the years.
Amy’s relationship history
Brian Scott Lovvorn | Current relationship
Amy is currently in a relationship with Brian Scott Lovvorn with the pair recently announcing their engagement!
In the latest episode of the reality show, aired in May 2025, it was revealed that Amy’s boyfriend, Brian, proposed at Henderson Haunts haunted house in Henderson, Kentucky in October 2024.
Even Amy’s ring is in keeping with the spooky theme of the engagement. She flashed the piece of jewellery to cameras.
Instead of a traditional diamond, Brian gifted his new fiancée with a silver band decorated with two skeleton hands forming a heart.
Amy’s sisters Tammy and Misty where there to witness the special moment but Amy soon revealed there was a secret proposal just two weeks into their relationship.
“Originally, he slipped a green apple Ring Pop on my finger while I was asleep, about two weeks into our relationship,” Amy, 37, told PEOPLE.
“I was shocked at first, and I said yes but only if the real proposal was in a haunted house on Halloween.”
The pair met in at a concert park 2024 and although Amy didn’t feel an initial spark he convinced her to go on a date with him, they’ve been in love ever since.
Amy and Brian have faced their fair share of challenges in their short time together including an arrest and her own family’s concerns they were moving “too fast”.
Amy is currently enjoying the throws of her romance with Brian and are even thinking about having kids together.
Michael Halterman | 2000s – February 2023
Amy’s relationship with Michael started long before her life as a reality star with the pair meeting in high school in the 2000s.
The high school sweethearts didn’t marry until 2019 where fans got a front row seat at their wedding during Season 1 of the show.
After tying the knot they welcomed two sons, Gage in November 2020 and Glenn in July 2022.
The pair called it quits the following year with them separating in February 2023 and finalising their divorce in September 2023.

ony Rodgers | November 2023 – January 2024
In November 2023, she took to social media to share that she was in a relationship with then-boyfriend Tony Rodgers.
A collection of photos showed the pair were smitten with each other and that Tony was stepping up to the role of step-father to Gage and Glen.
But by New Year 2024, Amy revealed she and Tony had split.
Again taking to TikTok, Amy posted a sad selfie with a countdown clock and expressed her devastation to her fans.
“Broken heart on New Year’s Eve! Single for the New Year though!!!!” she wrote at the time.
Kevin | February 2024
In February 2024, rumours swirled that Amy was dating another man named Kevin when she posted a video tribute to him on Valentines Day.
It appeared their relationship was over shortly after it began and Amy clarified her relationship status by sharing she was “single as a pringle but not ready to mingle”.

Andrea | Current relationship
After coming out as pansexual, Tammy revealed she was no longer interested in dating men although she was unsure how her family would react to being involved with a woman.
Season 7 of 1000-Lb Sisters has lifted the lid on Tammy’s relationship with girlfriend Andrea. In fact cameras filmed the moment they went on their “first ever date” at a bowling alley.
Andrea explained their first meeting: “Tammy and I met on a dating app, I had just got on there I wasn’t on there very long.
“I saw her and she saw me and we just started talking and it’s been like every day since.”
It appeared Tammy was equally as smitten saying, “Andrea is beautiful, I like everything about her.”
“I do have feelings for Andrea but right now we’re just taking things slow day-by-day.”
Fans of the show were chuffed to see Tammy and Andrea’s romance.
“The way she looks at you. So sweet,” one commented.
While another clocked a detail that they thought could mean their relationship was more serious.
“Anyone notice they both have black wedding bands on😮,” the follower wrote.

Caleb Willingham | Mid 2022 – November 2022
In 2022, while in a food addiction rehabilitation centre, Tammy met Caleb Willingham who had also embarked on a weight-loss journey of his own.
The pair were engaged in October of that year and married in November 2022.
It was reported they split after five months of marriage, but there was never any official confirmation.
Sadly, Caleb Willingham passed away on June 30, 2023.
Tammy confirmed the news by posting a sweet tribute to Caleb on social media.
“Rip sweet angel you will forever be missed and loved so much thank you Caleb for showing me real love and happiness ❤️❤️,” she wrote.
Tammy revealed she was at home in Kentucky when she learned about Caleb’s death via text from a friend.
