A man’s obsession with revenge led him to crash a wedding ceremony and kidnap the groom as a hostage. The incident took place in the village of Bhata in India, and was a result of the man’s anger and hurt over his ex-girlfriend’s decision to marry someone else.

According to the Times of India, the man had become unhinged after his former girlfriend chose to marry someone else instead of him. His actions were reminiscent of a scene from the famous Bollywood movie “Mother India” from the 1950s, in which the protagonist seeks revenge by kidnapping a girl from her own wedding and fleeing the village.

On the evening of June 30th, the kidnappers stormed the wedding venue in Bhata and caused chaos. They began assaulting the groom’s family members, friends, and wedding guests before taking the groom, Narpat Singh, and his brother Ganpat Singh as hostages.

The next day, the groom’s father filed a complaint with the police, who eventually managed to rescue the hostages. The main suspect, Jalam Singh, has been identified by the police, but he and his accomplices are still on the run, and the police are currently conducting a search operation to find them.

The incident highlights the dangers of obsessive behavior and the need for appropriate measures to prevent such events from happening. It is important for people to seek help and support when dealing with rejection and heartbreak, instead of resorting to extreme and illegal actions. The incident also serves as a reminder of the impact of popular culture on society and the need for responsible portrayals of revenge in movies and other forms of media.
