Deon Derrico Shares Relationship Update After Divorce From Karen
Doubling Down With the Derricos star Deon Derrico is opening up about life after his split from Karen Derrico.
On Aug. 11, the former TLC personality took to Instagram Stories to connect with fans, answering questions about his relationship status following the couple’s June 2024 divorce. When one follower asked if he and Karen were considering reconciliation, Deon offered a candid response.
“Honestly, we are,” he wrote, “but raising our large family is so esoteric that our main focus right now has been catering to their individual and collective needs.”
Deon and Karen—who were married for 19 years—share 14 children: Darian; Derrick; twins Dallas and Denver; quintuplets Deniko, Dariz, Deonee, Daician and Daiten; twins Diez and Dior; and triplets Dawsyn, De’Aren and Dyver.
At the time of their split, the couple released a joint statement emphasizing their commitment to co-parenting. “Together, we remain unified in the parenting of our 14 beautiful children—their well-being is our priority,” they said.
During his Q&A, Deon also addressed the future of Doubling Down With the Derricos, confirming that Season 6 will not be moving forward. Instead, fans can look forward to a brand-new reality series in 2026, airing on a different network. Details on the title and premiere date have yet to be announced.
