Undeniably, Sister Wives Garrison Brown‘s death is pulling on everyone’s heartstrings. However, the Brown family is currently facing their darkest nightmare of losing a son, brother, and uncle. Although it has been three weeks, a devasting loss doesn’t just disappear. Instead, the family wakes up each morning finding new ways to move through the journey without Garrison. While Christine Brown has shared her coping mechanisms for returning to life, now her husband, David Woolley is offering Truely Brown support.
Christine And Truely Brown Need Support
Without a doubt, grief looks different for everyone. Notably, Christine Brown is going back to “business as usual” in many ways. While her heart is broken, she craves some semblance of the routines that her everyday life offers. Although she wasn’t Garrison Brown’s biological mother, she played a major role in helping Janelle Brown raise him alongside Kody Brown and the other sister wives.

But life isn’t easy after saying goodbye to a loved one. Christine is still a wife and mother and time continues to march on. Significantly, she still has one daughter living at home, Truely Brown, 13. Unmistakably, it can be even more difficult for a teenager to sort through big emotions following the loss of a sibling. Admirably, David Woolley is providing both Christine and Truely much-needed support through this phase of their lives.
David Woolley Puts In The Effort With Truely Brown During The Family’s Grief
While the couple is still in their newlywed phase, Garrison Brown’s passing has shaken up the entire Brown family. On Sister Wives star, Christine Brown’s Instagram page, she posts some sweet photos of David Woolley going to great efforts to help Truely Brown. With a carousel of pictures, the two are exploring the natural healing powers of nature. Christine captions: “Found some amazing petroglyphs only an hour or so out of our way. Honestly, I would go out of my way again to see #valleyoffire it. Was. Amazing! #petroglyphs #hiking #valleyoffire #offthebeatenpath #outdoors.” Then fans can see David and Truely climbing their hearts out on the petroglyphs. They are located in Valley of Fire.

David Woolley And Truely Brown Have A Special Relationship
Seemingly, David Woolley and Truely Brown have a special relationship as stepfather and stepdaughter. Undoubtedly, it has been a big change for Truely and Christine Brown alike to live with a man full-time. However, Christine recognizes they understand one another. Previously she said, “And I think that was the final clinch for me. He came over one time and he started talking with Truely, and he just sat down with her and got her. He understood her.”

Now more than ever, that bond is going to be important as Truely learns to move through heavy emotions no teenager should have to navigate. But she has a great support system at her fingertips. Two biological parents and plenty of siblings to usher her through the process. But she is even more blessed to have a bonus stepdad at her side. In many ways, David may have more bandwidth to assist her in this matter since he has experienced deep grief after losing his first wife and will grieve Garrison differently as well.
