Darcey Silva and Georgi Rusev’s marriage hit a rough patch as Georgi opened up about the pressure he faces from his family and Bulgarian culture to have children — a reality Darcey cannot fulfill.

During the Nov. 2 episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, Georgi, 37, got emotional while sharing his struggles, even shedding a tear as he explained how the cultural expectations weighed on him. Darcey reminded him that he had previously been firm about not wanting children, which left him questioning himself.

“I never say I want a kid right now! I’m saying this keeps bothering me,” Georgi admitted, explaining that he had been grappling with the issue internally for some time.

Darcey expressed her support but also her limits. “You deserve happiness, but so do I,” she said as she stood up from the bar. “I can’t give you what you really, really want, because you know deep down what that is. You just don’t want to admit it.”

The episode highlighted the emotional and cultural tensions between them, leaving the future of their marriage uncertain.

Tensions boiled over when Georgi tried to open up about his feelings, but Darcey repeatedly interjected. Frustrated, Georgi snapped: “Can you f—— listen? I’m trying to be open!” leaving Darcey covering her ears.

He reflected on past arguments, explaining that he had struggled to open up before because he felt his feelings were ignored. “I just want to be vulnerable and have a conversation with you,” he said. “You don’t care about how I feel. That’s what’s bothering me. I’m hurting too.”

Darcey, however, remained firm. She warned that their relationship might not last, saying, “Do your thing, but I don’t think it’s going to work, Georgi.” When Georgi professed his love, she pushed back: “No, no, no. Let me have my life. You will not take that away from me!”

Finally, Darcey walked away, repeating, “Stop wasting my time. I’ve done enough. Let me move on. Let me have my peace,” leaving Georgi visibly confused and the future of their marriage uncertain.

Darcey reiterated her support for Georgi should he pursue having kids. “I want you to have that,” she said. “Do it! Get the f— over it.

Georgi then approached his wife for a hug, though she did not reciprocate. Instead, she continued to grumble to herself, “It’s happened before, it’s gonna happen again. I’m fine on my own. Do what you’ve got to do.”

Eventually, Darcey pushed her husband away. “But I love you,” Georgi repeated.

Darcey told Georgi, “I can’t do this anymore. I’ve got to go. I’m strong. I can be by myself.”

“You don’t need to!” Georgi replied, arguing that they could “figure it out” together as his wife turned and walked away.

Georgi seemed hurt. “You’re always the one giving up,” he shouted after Darcey, who kept her back to her husband as she left.

Afterward, Georgi tried to piece together what he wanted out of his own life. “It’s a breaking point,” he explained. “But how this is going to affect our marriage, we don’t know yet.”

Outside, Darcey also raised questions about whether their marriage will survive. She also wondered whether her husband was telling her the truth.

“I want him to be happy. Have kids. Wonderful! But don’t be in this marriage if that’s not something that you see for us,” Darcey insisted.

“I asked him these same f—— things for years and he gave me different answers,” she continued. “I can’t make him to be the man that I need, because maybe he’s not.”

Darcey then concluded, “Maybe it’s easier for … us to move on, sign the divorce papers and call it a day.”
