Captivating Tuscan Ambiance: Italian Charm and Terracotta Elements in the Heart of Tuscany

Welcome to the stunning Tuscan wedding celebration of Lisa and Ryan! After multiple delays due to the pandemic, the couple was finally able to tie the knot in September 2022. Their love for Tuscany, where the bride’s mother was born, led them to choose Villa Mangiacane in Firenze as the venue for their special day.

The Planning:

Lisa and Ryan had a clear vision for their wedding, which included hosting all their friends and family for the entire weekend. They arranged a series of events, including a religious ceremony at the Certosa di Firenze monastery, to make their wedding a truly unforgettable experience.

The Fashion:

The bridesmaids looked stunning in their Jenny Yoo gowns, while the groomsmen dressed in Michael Andrews Bespoke attire. The couple looked dashing as they exchanged their vows in front of their loved ones.

The Details:

The couple paid close attention to the details, ensuring that their guests had a memorable culinary experience. The reception featured a mouth-watering selection of dishes, including Flan of Ricotta Cheese and Asparagus with Crispy Bacon, Fusilli Fresh Pasta with Lamb Ragout Sauce and Rosemary, Beef with Porcini Mushrooms and Roasted Potatoes, and Vegetables Caponata. Vegetarian options were also available, including homemade lasagne with zucchini and fresh basil and Eggplant Parmigiana on a Tomato Coulis. The traditional Italian Tiramisu was served for dessert, along with white and red wines from the Mangiacane winery and Sophia Sparkling Rosé.

The floral decor was just as impressive, featuring mauve pink blush, peach, and ivory spray roses, light terracotta and ivory roses, blush pink peonies, ranunculus, eucalyptus, astilbe, scabiosa, and astrantia. The bridal bouquet was a stunning arrangement of ivory and dusty pink roses, blush pink garden and spray roses, peach garden roses, white stocks, and ivory astrantia.

The wedding cake, created by Sugarcups, was a vanilla cake with an Amalfi lemon syrup, lemon curd, fresh raspberries, white chocolate drizzle, and vanilla Swiss meringue buttercream. The cake was decorated with real flowers provided by the florist Flowers Living.

The couple had a Catholic ceremony at Chiesa della Certosa in Florence with their closest family and friends the day before their wedding. The next day, they had a symbolic ceremony at Villa Mangiacane with all their guests. The bride walked down the aisle escorted by her father while the Canone in D was playing, creating a truly romantic atmosphere.

Closing:

Lisa and Ryan’s Tuscan wedding was a beautiful celebration of love, family, and tradition. From the stunning location to the delicious food and impeccable details, every moment was carefully crafted to make their dream wedding a reality. We wish them a lifetime of happiness and love.
