She was photographing a couple who wanted their dog included in their wedding portraits. “And then, out of nowhere, the cutest little dog walker in D.C. shows up with the dog — and there was this flirty eye contact,” Olivia shared during a Welcome to Plathville episode that aired in September 2024.
After that chance encounter, Olivia and Brendan began seeing each other casually before making their relationship official a few months later.
They share a love of animals

Brendan and Olivia share a deep love for animals. Olivia was raised on a farm, which fostered her connection with animals from a young age. Brendan, on the other hand, grew up with smaller pets like frogs and gerbils due to his father’s dog allergy. Today, he has turned his passion into a career, working full-time as a pet sitter.
“Olivia definitely loves animals just as much as I do,” Brendan shared during a Welcome to Plathville episode that aired in September 2024. “It would be dishonest to say we didn’t bond over that. It’s honestly one of my favorite things about her.”

Before their split, Olivia and Ethan Plath had gotten matching playing card tattoos on their wrists, symbolizing their bond at the time. Since then, Olivia and her new partner, Brendan, have marked their relationship with matching sea turtle tattoos, which they got while vacationing in the Bahamas.
