Chloven or Chloven’t? 90 Day Fans Launch a Full Detective Investigation Into Chloe and Steven’s Puerto Rico Selfies

The 90 Day fandom has officially opened a case file — and it comes with a ship name nobody can agree on. Viewers of 90 Day: Hunt for Love turned detective this week after clocking a pattern in the Instagram feeds of Chloe Fabiano and Steven Frend: photo after photo from Puerto Rico, where Season 2 is filming, of just the two of them. Then came the smoking gun — Steven kissing Chloe on the cheek while she grins at the camera. The fandom’s verdict was instant: the chemistry is chemistry-ing.

The twist: they come from totally different 90 Day eras. Steven, 28, debuted in 2018 on Season 6 with Olga Koshimbetova; they split in 2024 and now co-parent, and this show is his first real shot at dating in years. Chloe joined only last year on The Other Way Season 7 and is fresh out of the wreckage of her romance with Johny. On paper, a mismatch. In the selfies, the season’s cutest inside joke.

Exhibit A: The Cheek-Kiss Selfie

Walk the evidence board. These are not group shots from a cast night out — they are close, relaxed, and always just the two of them. Then Exhibit A: the cheek kiss. In the court of fan opinion, that is fingerprints on the doorknob. The timing upgraded it from gossip to investigation: the photos surfaced while new episodes were airing — Season 2 runs Mondays at 8/7c on TLC — exactly when two people on a dating show would have the most to hide if something were brewing.

Exhibit B: The Suspect Who Talked Too Much

Every detective story has the moment the suspect volunteers too much. One fan wished the two were a couple. Then another accused Steven of spoiling the whole season, implying the selfies prove they end up together. Steven could have laughed it off, could have said “just friends.” Instead he replied: “don’t make assumptions ;)”. Note the winky face doing all the heavy lifting. That is not a denial — that is a man enjoying the investigation.

To be fair, none of this confirms they are actually dating. According to reports, neither has said a word — and the selfies alone prove only that two people at the same resort took a photo together. But since when has the fandom needed a confession to open a case?

Team “Chloven Is Real” vs. Team “TLC Edit Trap”

Team Chloven Is Real has receipts: the one-on-one dinner where Chloe told Steven the saga of Brittany Banks teaching Emma Perry to twerk, the two trading laughs like old friends — the pairing viewers keep rewinding. Cheek kiss, selfie streak, winking non-denial. Case closed, this camp says. The only open question: the couple name — Chloven or Stevloe?

Team TLC Edit Trap says slow down. Episode 3 had Steven locked in on Iris Castillo “right now” — one person at a time — while Iris keeps her options open with Razvan Ciocoi and Michael Ilesanmi. And Chloe has been chasing newcomers Landon and Brian: Landon earned the ick for kissing her cheek (ironic, given Exhibit A); Brian arrived with Emma’s lipstick still on his lips after she twerked on him. Two people posting selfies at the same Puerto Rico resort proves nothing — that is the show’s premise. And the “spoiler” outrage? Possibly exactly the free publicity the producers want.

So, detectives: what is your verdict? Is Chloven a real romance the selfies accidentally spoiled, or the best-engineered fake-out of the season? Show your work in the comments.
