Provider or Freeloader? Kara Bass’s Latest Dig at Guillermo Has 90 Day Fans Picking Sides

The Kara Bass and Guillermo Rojer breakup keeps producing plot twists, and the latest one is all about money. Days after Guillermo warned fans not to believe his ex’s “crazy story,” Kara has fired back: he simply was not the provider their family needed. Now the 90 Day fandom is doing what it does best — splitting into two very loud teams.

Team Kara: “He Wasn’t Providing”
On a recent episode of the Decisions, Decisions podcast, Kara went after her critics — and her ex — in the same breath. “He wasn’t providing, people!” she said. “You want me to go be hungry?” Her argument: she opened her adult content page while pregnant with their son, Nico, for extra income, and kept posting because Guillermo was not financially stable enough to support the three of them.
“He had a million and one dreams, but like it never was coming to fruition,” Kara said. “I was starting to understand that I can’t trust him to be the provider.” She wanted a “ride or die” partner who believed in her and would never dim her light — “which, that didn’t work out.” According to reports, she claims she set up chances for him: her mother supposedly offered to hand over a successful business, and they bought him a truck for a lawn care business — but he never looked at a lawn in six months, and a children’s book idea died on the vine.

Team Guillermo: “Here We Go With the Crazy Story”
Guillermo’s response has been short. Under an Instagram reel of her interview, he reportedly wrote, “Here we go with the crazy story…” and warned followers to be careful about what they believe. Team Guillermo argues the timeline does not flatter Kara: at the Tell All, she bragged about earning six figures a month while mocking his modest hospitality income — income that let him spend real time with their son. Now, they say, she is rewriting the story to make him the villain.
His defenders also point to The Last Resort, where he said he could not stay in a marriage involving adult content. To them, he took a moral stand and walked away — including skipping the recommitment ceremony, where co-star Patrick read a breakup letter on his behalf. To them, his short comment reads as dignity, not guilt.

The “Public Humiliation” Charge
Kara also claims Guillermo publicly humiliated her on TV and only changed his tune after seeing fan reactions. On the Reality Gays podcast, she said it never crossed her mind he would skip the recommitment ceremony — calling him a man on “a high moral horse” who “doesn’t show up” when things get hard. Guillermo has not answered those charges.
So Who Was Really the Provider?
Here is where the fan war ignites. Team Kara says the receipts are public: she is still a practicing realtor in Virginia, Nico’s primary caregiver, and a working musician — and, by her account, the family’s breadwinner the whole time. Team Guillermo says the bragging is exactly the problem: she made the money, then blamed him for the choices she made to earn it. Both sides agree on one thing — their versions of the marriage cannot both be true.
So we are asking the question the whole fandom is screaming about: whose side are you on — Team Kara, who says she had no choice but to be the provider, or Team Guillermo, who says it is all a crazy story? Drop your pick in the comments. This debate is not ending anytime soon.
