“We Are Filming Right Now” — Deon Derrico’s New Show Is About to Hit the One-Year Mark With No Network and No Release Date

On November 1, 2025, Deon Derrico looked into his phone camera and announced it was “officially the day” his family was free from TLC — “officially free agents” now “meeting with other networks” for their new show. He sounded thrilled.

Nearly a year later, Deon has repeatedly told fans the cameras are rolling. But the show? Still no title, no network, no airdate. This week the question resurfaced as TV news outlets recirculated Deon’s filming confirmation — and fans asked the same tired question: where is the show?

A Timeline of Promises: July 2024 to October 2026

Give Deon credit — he has never gone quiet. What he has told fans, on the record:

July 2024: “We are currently filming everything that’s been going on so you guys don’t have to keep asking” — on an Instagram Live.

November 2024: Replying to a fan on his Thanksgiving kitchen post: “we are filming right now for our new season.”

April 2025: “We’re just gearing up for the all New Show of ours that’s moving through the process… More on this will be shared with the exact Network, date, and time of release. We won’t be back on TLC however we will be back on an all New Network” (Parade).

August 2025: In an Instagram Q&A: “All new television show, all new season, and all new episodes of our television show airs in 2026” (TV Season & Spoilers).

November 2025: The “free agents” announcement — in talks with “other networks” (Parade).

December 2025: “Please stay tuned for our ALL NEW SHOW coming in 2026,” then an official announcement promised for “early 2026” (Starcasm).

May 2026: Teased “shooting for a May release.” A fan replied, “OK, it’s almost June. Early 2026 has passed.” The family answered: “There’s so much going on!! GG, and I will be filming” (Starcasm). It is now October 2026 — and the announcement never arrived.

What “Everything That’s Been Going On” Would Have to Cover

If Deon really is filming “everything,” the new show would be the wildest season in Derrico history:

The two-day divorce. After 19 years of marriage, the split was filed and finalized within two days in June 2024, with joint custody of the 13 minor children. Deon has even had to deny rumors the divorce was fake.

Karen’s arrest. In June 2026, Karen was arrested in Las Vegas on charges including felony aggravated stalking and making threats, according to reports. She pleaded not guilty, was released on $2,000 bail, and ordered to wear an ankle monitor. These are allegations, not convictions — her attorney claims Deon forged the threatening emails; Deon denies it. No verified outcome of the August 2026 hearing has been reported.

The lost house. On September 1, 2026, the family’s Las Vegas home went to foreclosure auction — and not a single buyer bid. The bank took it back. Deon said in July 2026 that 12 of the 14 kids are staying with him.

GG’s battle. Marian “GG” Derrico continues her cancer fight near the grandkids — and personally shut down a death hoax earlier this year.

The Real Problem: Who Would Air This?

Deon insists the TLC split was the family’s choice: “We chose to no longer go forward with filming with TLC. That was totally done by us” — “no falling out.” But which network greenlights an open criminal case involving one of the two stars, plus a foreclosure and a co-parenting war on Instagram? And whose lawyers let the arrest storyline air while the case is still open in Nevada courts?

Deon has floated self-distributing the footage. Fans speculate the “filming” is stockpiled footage to shop around later. Neither is confirmed — because, nearly a year in, Deon has announced everything except the one thing that matters: where and when we can watch.

So — Is the Show Ever Coming?

The fandom is split. One camp: “Thank God you are all coming back,” “Can’t wait.”

Underneath the impatience, a harder question: Deon promised a season showing “everything” — but should a family’s real-life courtroom drama, with 14 kids in the middle, become television? Or should the cameras stay down until the dust settles?

Are you Team “Release it NOW — we deserve the truth” or Team “Protect the kids — wait until this is over”? Sound off in the comments — and be honest: do you still believe the new show is coming?
