A fresh series has launched on Discovery Plus, promising viewers a wealth of explosive and heated confrontations. The latest instalment introduces new couples navigating the complexities of long-distance romances, tackling issues from intense jealousy to secret religious conversions.
The first three episodes became available on July 13, with subsequent instalments dropping each Sunday thereafter. Viewers have already witnessed intense clashes between one pair following a concealed religious conversion that eventually surfaced.
Shorna, aged 45, maintains a long-distance romance with 25 year old Adnand, though her conversion to Mormonism now prohibits any intimate relations before marriage. This revelation caught Adnand completely off guard, leading to a row between the two.
an exclusive conversation with Screen Time, Shorna discussed the heated exchange and confirmed that everything audiences witnessed was entirely genuine. Reflecting on his response to her announcement, she commented: “I was shocked, I didn’t expect that from him because we’d built up a connection.
“I knew it was going to be a difficult conversation to have, but I didn’t expect him to act the way he did.”
She continued: “It’s all real. Whatever you see with my story, it’s all real. I can say it’s 100% real, nothing’s made up. My faith is important to me and so is my family.”
Shorna found herself on a family getaway with her youngest daughter in Greece when circumstances took an unforeseen twist, reports the Express.

Since then, they’ve maintained their relationship despite the long distance. Discussing the presence of film crews documenting their every moment, including disagreements, Shorna revealed: “At first I was like what are you doing, what are you up to but after time, getting to know the producers and the staff, they’re so lovely, they make you feel at ease, it was just natural.
“It’s all natural, the emotions, the highs and lows we had, it was all natural.”
Addressing her age-gap romance, which motivated her television appearance to challenge social stigma, Shorna explained: “My daughters and friends were against it, I just want to prove age is just a number.
