At the time, TLC fans noticed the disposables. In fact, it seems common for them to use those rather than china.

While might seem like a minor thing to worry about, lots of TLC fans got touchy about it, slamming the family for laziness. Well, the show reveals that everyone works, even Emma and Alex who run their own Etsy stores. However, plenty of people work hard, so little sympathy goes their way.

Why Does Amber Johnston Use Paper Plates?

This weekend, the @Team7ljs Instagram account revealed the reason. And, it seemed reasonable to many people. Amber Johnston who runs the account, explained that when they are “filming,” they all continue with their “day jobs.” So, each morning is an early start. Then, when they get back, they go straight into filming.

During “filming,” the 7 Little Johnstons star said, they only end their work day after “10 PM.” Additionally, they rise at “6 AM. [so] no one wants to wash dishes during the schedule.” As is common, the post made its way to Reddit. The OP said:

Some TLC fans didn’t believe Amber Johnston’s explanation, claiming that a dishwasher would save time. However, others also talked about the noise that china plates would make.

• As a working mom, I can tell you right now we are using paper plates almost every night. You guys criticizing them for that is actually insane. Grasping at anything.
